Our comprehensive warranties provide long-term confidence, ensuring that you’re safeguarded against mechanical or electrical defects.

All our vehicles are covered by our Changan Care warranty of:

5 Year / 150 000km

ICE (Internal Combustion Engines) 
REEV (Range Extender Electric Vehicle) 
BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle)

This includes:
A 3 Years / 100 000 Km warranty.
Rust, Painting and Rubber parts, Entertainment System, Absorber, Structure damage of clutch disc - Technical assessment is required.

Extended coverage of an additional 3-years on, REEV (Range Extender Electric Vehicle) and BEV (Battery Electric vehicle) specifically encompassing the power battery/high voltage battery, DM - drive motor unit, MCU - motor control unit and VCU - vehicle control unit

Parts Warranty:
1 year / 20 000km for out of warranty vehicles, parts installed which are deemed defective. Assessment of parts failure must be determined by a Changan dealer.

Handbrake Cables 5 Years / 150 000 Km
Clutch Discs 3 Years / 100 000 Km - Limited to structural damages of clutch discs. Unless determined as consequential damage, this is subject to failure as a wear and tear item and is not warrantable
Clutch Release Bearings 5 Years / 150 000 Km
Pressure Plate 5 Years / 150 000 Km
Flywheel 5 Years / 150 000 Km
Door Locks 5 Years / 150 000 Km
Rubber Parts 3 years / 100 000km - Independent rubber part, including: Hose and pipe of cooling system, hose and pipe of fuel oil system, hose and pipe of vacuum system cushion of absorber function seal ring sealing internal rubbers for dust/waterproof assembly rubbers - door rubbers, windscreen rubbers, sunroof rubbers, window rubbers external factors are not warrantable
Door Hinges 5 Years / 150 000 Km
Transmission 5 Years / 150 000 Km - All internal parts Incl. gears, housing, gaskets, oil seals, bearings, shafts, counter shafts, selector forks and shafts
Engine 5 Years / 150 000 Km - All internal parts Incl. engine block, cylinder heads, gaskets, oil seals, water pump etc
Exhaust 5 Years / 150 000 Km
Fuel Pump 5 Years / 150 000 Km - Includes injectors and common rail. damage caused by overfilling, poor fuel quality or Inaccurate fuel used - not warrantable
Glass 5 Years / 150 000 Km - Pressure crack to be proven. Stone chipping of glass, incl. sunroof - not warrantable
Hooter 5 Years / 150 000 Km
Lights 5 Years / 150 000 Km - Any modifications will void warranty. Headlight, taillights, indicator lights etc
Bulbs 6 Months / 5 000 Km - Aftermarket upgrades not warrantable
Mountings 5 Years / 150 000 Km
Mirrors 5 Years / 150 000 Km - Includes rear and interior
Pulleys 5 Years / 150 000 Km
Radiator 5 Years / 150 000 Km - Includes radiator cap, hoses and thermostat
Entertainment System 3 Years / 100 000 Km - Factory fitted speakers, Bluetooth mic and USB, and display screen
Starter 5 Years / 150 000 Km
Steering Wheel 5 Years / 150 000 Km
Gear Knob 5 Years / 150 000 Km
Steering Shaft 5 Years / 150 000 Km - MDPS motor (motor driven power steering)
Shock Absorbers 3 Years / 100 000 Km
Air Filter 6 Months / 5 000 Km - Includes air-conditioning filters, oil filters and fuel filters
Switches and Sensors 5 years / 150 000km
Spark Plugs 5 000km / 6 months
Tyres 5 000km / 6 months - After the replacement of tyres, the warranty is then transferred to tyre supplier
Upholstery 5 years / 150 000km - Any discoloration, or wear and tear from external sources, is not warrantable
Wiper Blades 5 000km / 6 months
Alternator 5 years / 150 000km
Compressor 5 years / 150 000km - A/Con Refrigerant is only warrantable, when replenished due to a component replacement
Remote Control Batteries 5 000km / 6 months
Towing 5 years / 150 000km

Manufacturer’s warranty is related to defective components only. No warranty will be entered into due to neglect, normal wear and tear, abuse, or accident damage. Adjustments or rattles are not warrantable. Any modifications to original factory vehicle standards will void warranty. Non approved aftermarket fitments or accessories are not warrantable. All out of warranty, over the counter electrical parts purchased must be fitted by an approved dealer.
